RUCKUS AI monitors the network around the clock, identifies service-affecting incidents, prioritises them by impact, and offers corrective actions — dramatically reducing MTTI and MTTR.

RUCKUS AI™ is a fully hosted cloud service that gives IT teams comprehensive visibility into network operations and accelerates troubleshooting without any on-site data collectors. RUCKUS access points and switches transmit health information to SmartZone controllers, which securely stream lightweight health KPIs and telemetry to the cloud — providing end-to-end visibility at scale.

Once an incident is identified, RUCKUS AI prioritises it by network impact (P1 through P4) and provides root cause analysis, affected areas, impacted client lists, and recommended corrective actions — enabling Level 1/2 helpdesk staff to remediate complex network problems that would previously have required senior engineers. By addressing the root cause of one incident, related issues are avoided before they arise.

Beyond assurance, RUCKUS AI delivers business intelligence through custom dashboards, occupancy analytics, Brand 360 for hospitality, application QoE scoring, and a full network data warehouse accessible via the Data Studio drag-and-drop tool. RUCKUS AI automatically identifies service incidents related to wired and wireless connectivity, performance, and infrastructure. Each incident is classified P1 through P4 by severity. Full incident detail is provided: root cause and recommended action, affected areas (OS types, AP models, firmware versions, WLANs), severity, client impact and duration, list of impacted clients, and the underlying data driving the incident.

IntentAI™ Autonomous Networking

Intent-based automation framework where each feature presents a binary choice with simple-language outcomes and tradeoffs. Network Health Monitoring

The Health page provides continuous visibility across connection, performance, and infrastructure categories — for both wired and wireless. Set custom SLA goals (e.g. "time to connect" under 5 seconds) and instantly see what percentage of the time the network meets them. Readily demonstrate SLA compliance to stakeholders inside or outside the organisation. Custom thresholds and KPI targets are fully configurable.

Client Troubleshooting

Holistic client troubleshooting page with simple, flexible search gives a complete picture of client experience — covering successful, slow, and failed connections; disconnect events; roaming events and failed roams; connection quality (RSSI, MCS, client throughput); network incidents affecting users with links to incident details; and network pcap download for all failure events for detailed packet analysis.

Automatic Service Validation

Validates service levels automatically without overlay sensors or on-site data collectors. Access points act as virtual clients to identify possible service disruptions — often before they affect users. Tests include WLAN, LAN, and WAN connectivity; EAP, RADIUS, DHCP, and DNS validation; and ping, traceroute, and upload/download speed tests. Delivers continuous assurance against defined service levels.

Configuration Change Analysis

Automatically monitors the impact of SmartZone software configuration changes on network performance. Two 24-hour widgets — adjustable to custom time frames — show standard KPIs before and after changes with net effect highlighted. Observe the impact of each change on a subset of the network before broader rollout. Prevents fully deploying changes that have adverse performance effects.

Data Studio & Reporting

Create custom dashboards with multiple charts using drag-and-drop ease. Analyse and filter data across dozens of data sets — AP Hardware, AP, Applications, Client, Client Connection, Client Sessions, Controller and Switch Inventory. Prebuilt reports cover network traffic and client trends, client OS/manufacturer breakdowns, application usage, inventory, and device-specific reports. Export as raw data, PDF, or CSV.
